Who We Are

Electrical Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee (EJATC) of Watertown is a five year electrical apprenticeship program.


We are co-sponsored by the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local 910 (IBEW 910) and the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA) Northern New York Chapter (NNY NECA). The Electrical Training Alliance (NJATC) has developed uniform standards that are adopted and used nationwide by local programs to select and train thousands of men and women each year.


EJATC of Watertown provides apprentices with tuition free classroom training and training assignments - Paid on the job training (earn while you learn).

At the end of the five year training -

You will be a certified electrician, capable of performing all aspects of the electrical field. Apprenticeship training provides all of the knowledge necessary for an individual to perform tasks in a professional manner while helping the individual to sharpen his or her skills and abilities to be the best workers in the electrical construction and maintenance industry.
